Popular Nigerian actress, fitness aficionado, and filmmaker, Kate Henshaw clocks 50 today.
Fans and her colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry have been celebrating the entertainment icon on their respective social media pages. Nollywood favorites like Rita Dominic and Uche Jumbo, posted their birthday wishes on their respective instagram pages.
Rita Dominic wrote,
“Wishing my hot beautiful friend a very happy birthday! You are such a bubbly bunny and an all-around amazing woman and I pray that the rest of your years be filled with every good thing on this earth. May the happiness you find today stay with you forever and a day! Love you lots”

The men were not left out. Legendary actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo also took to his instagram to celebrate the actress. He wrote,

In 1993, Kate Henshaw auditioned for the lead role in the movie ‘When the Sun Sets’. She got the role, her first appearance in a major Nollywood movie. Since then, the multiple award-winning actress has gone on to star in over 45 Nollywood movies.
In July 2014, Henshaw also officially unveiled her campaign website as she contested to represent the Calabar Municipal/Odukpani Federal constituency under the platform of the People Democratic Party PDP. However, she lost the primary election.
In 2015, Henshaw was appointed as a special adviser by the Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade.
