American supermodel, Gigi Hadid and musician boyfriend, Zayn Malik have gone their separate ways once again.
This split is coming after a report that Hadid’s mother, Yolanda was considering filing a police report against Malik for striking her.
However, on Thursday, the one direction alum “adamantly” denied Yolanda’s “false allegations” that he struck her. He wrote on Twitter,
“I have agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago. This was and still should be a private matter, But it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press.”
The couple shares 13-month-old daughter Khai.
According to Hadid’s representative,
“Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time.”
However, representatives for Yolanda and Malik have not responded to multiple requests for comment.
The couple first sparked romance rumors in November 2015 when they stepped out together at an American Music Awards afterparty.
This is not the first time the couple will be breaking up. In March 2018, they broke up after nearly two years together. The duo had shared individual statements confirming the news at the time.
However, they sparked reconciliation rumors soon after when they were spotted sharing an intimate moment in New York City. shortly after, sparking reconciliation rumors.
They once again confirmed their reconciliation on February 14, 2020. In April 2020, the couple revealed the supermodel was pregnant. And they had kept this private during the COVID-19 lockdown. Their baby, Khai was born on Sept. 23, 2020.
