Nigerian Tiktoker Ego, who was convicted for defaming actress Eniola Badmus, has claimed that she was physically assaulted while in custody.

Taking to social media, Ego revealed that she has undisclosed information about her arrest.

She alleged that she was subjected to a gang beating by individuals connected to Badmus after her arrest, a detail that was not made public.

Ego shared that she was attacked by about six people, leaving marks on her body as a result of the brutality.

In her words, “I haven’t said anything yet, They did not tell you that they gang beat me to the point that I could no longer tell the number of people that laid hands on me, I feel like it was more than six people. I feel like that beating was too terrible, too brutal that my beauty left me and ran away, till now, more than one week after I’m still trying to recover my beauty. I have too many marks on my body.”

She emphasized that the beating she endured during custody was more severe than any she had experienced in her life. she described the treatment as inhumane.

Ego’s arrest stemmed from her viral video where she accused Eniola Badmus of being a pimp.

Badmus claimed her reputation suffered, leading to brand and endorsement losses.

Following her arrest, Ego pleaded guilty to cyberstalking charges, resulting in a three-year prison sentence or a ₦150,000 fine, which she paid.

In response to the verdict, Eniola Badmus took to Twitter to address the situation, reminding the public that celebrities are also human.
