Music stars, Falz and Runtown have led a group of protesters, who on Thursday, October 8, 2020, stormed Lagos streets to demand for the end of police brutality in the country.
As earlier reported on eelive.ng, a 22-year-old, Joshua Ambrose was attacked by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a development that triggered an outcry from members of the public.
Following the incident, Nigerians took to social media to enlist the extra-judicial killings, wanton arrests, and dispossession of properties through physical assault and other intimidation tactics that were often carried out by the notorious police unit.
And in order to speak against the mayhem often perpetrated by the notorious police unit, Falz and Runtown promised to lead the protest, which eelive.ng gathered is ongoing.
As seen in videos circulating on the internet, Falz and Runtown can be seen chanting EndSARS! EndSARS! The music stars also went live on their social media pages, encouraging youths to join to be part of the protest.
