The long-awaited nomination list for the 72nd Emmy Awards were announced during a virtual ceremony streamed live on Tuesday.
The American superhero drama series, Watchmen led all films with 26 nominations, including Outstanding limited series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie.
Following closely is Comedy drama, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel which scored 20 nominations, while Ozark and Succession have 18 each.
While HBO and Amazon shows lead the way, overall, Netflix has the most nominations, with 160 in total. It’s the second time it has beaten its rival HBO, which has 107 this year.
This year’s Emmy Awards is set to hold on September 20, with Jimmy Kimmel, as its host.
