US rapper and music producer, Dr Dre, has agreed to pay Nicole Young, his estranged wife, $2 million in spousal support.
The Hip-hop mogul who is currently recovering from a brain aneurysm, signed the agreement from his hospital bed.
The money is to cover Young‘s living expenses like her Malibu, California home while she covers for her security fees; for the next few months until they meet back in court in April.
Young had filed for divorce in June 2020 citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for her split from the hip-hop mogul who has amassed a major fortune from his multiple businesses.
The pair got married in 1996. It was the first marriage for Dr Dre. Young was previously married to NBA player Sedale Threatt.
They have 2 adult children together — a son named Truice and a daughter named Truly. Dre has four children from previous relationships.
