Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Akanbi Bamidele Brett, better known as Cheque, has teamed up with Davido and Nigerian- American rapper, Wale on the remix of his breakout single Zoom.
Since its release in July, the original track has continued to enjoy massive airplay in he country. Now, with Davido and Wale adding gloss to the remix, it’s sure to rise to stellar heights.
“They don’t love me like I do. They just wanna take my truth. Now they running out of clue. They just don’t know what to do. I’m breaking chains now.
“Hating so stupid but that’s the way now…Congratulations. That’s the only valid conversation, they gon’ love me now in my hometown. So all you hating on me get your face down, woah,” Cheque sings in the remix.
Zoom is a track off his recently released 5-track Razor EP. It includes songs like Loco, Satisfied, Hollywood and Odun. The EP rose to Top 5 Nigerian albums on iTunes, within 24 hours of its release.
The 25-year-old singer got signed to Penthauze Records on February 2019 after he was discovered by Phyno through one of his Instagram freestyling sessions.
He was also featured on Olamide‘s Warlords song, a track off his 999 EP alongside Rhatti, Phyno and Snow.
