Superstar musicians, DJ Cuppy and Adekunle Gold, have finally released their highly-anticipated albums.
While DJ cuppy released Original Copy, her album, Adekunle Gold dropped, Afro-Pop Volume 1, his third studio project.
Both bodies of works were published in the early hours of Friday, August 21, 2020, as promised.

Popular singer, Rema featured on Original Copy.
The trap singer featured on the album, alongside other music stars, which include Afro-juju maestro, Sir Shina Peters, Rayvanny, a Tanzanian singer, and Wyclef Jean, an American-Haitian rapper.
Other artistes on the album, are –Wale, an American rapper, Efya, a Ghanaian singer and song-writer, Stonebwoy, also a Ghanaian singer, Julain Marley, a British-Jamaican reggae singer, Ms Banks, a British rapper, Darkoo, Nonso Amadi, Ycee, Fireboy DML, and Seyi Shay, who are Nigerian music stars.
Following the release of Original Copy, she wrote on Twitter, “All I ask is that you take 31mins out of your busy life to listen to #OriginalCopy Pls listen carefully with an open heart without letting misconceptions cloud your mind. I want this album to bring us closer and truly believe there is a song for everyone. Love you, Cuppy.”

Adekunle Gold’s Afro-Pop Volume 1
On the other hand, the Adekunle Gold’s third studio project features notable artistes. They include – Tekno, Patoranking, Nailah Blackman, and Olayinka Ehi.
Speaking of the project, the AG Baby singer said Afro-Pop Volume 1 is a reflection of his growing versatility. “This album is different; nobody has ever named an album a new genre before. I wanted to coin all the sounds I put together on this album. I have been looking for an avenue to express myself limitlessly. It’s African popular music,” he told RWD magazine, recently.
