Rapper Sean Combs, better known as Diddy, has stepped down as chairman of Revolt.
This was contained in a statement issued by the company through its Instagram page.
The statement read “Sean Combs has stepped down from his position as chairman of Revolt.
“While Mr. Combs has previously had no operational or day-to-day role in the business, this decision helps to ensure that Revolt remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create meaningful content for the culture.”
This comes on the wake of several sexual lawsuits against the rapper.
Recently, the rapper and his ex-girlfriend Cassie have reached a settlement in her groundbreaking lawsuit against him.
This has led to the dismissal of the case in court.
The court documents stated that the dismissal is in line with an agreement between the parties.
This dismissal came after Diddy agreed to pay the $30 million settlement requested by Cassie.
Both parties dismissed the action with prejudice, meaning it cannot be brought back to court, and without any costs or fees to either side.
The detailed lawsuit of the alleged abuse suffered by Cassie during her ten-year on-and-off relationship with ex-boyfriend Diddy made ripples on social media.
The claim that he raped her in 2018, the year their relationship ended, stood out.
