American singer and actress, Demi Lovato and her fiance, Max Ehrich have split up, two months after the couple announced their engagement.
According to PEOPLE magazine, the Lovato, 28, and the 29-year old soap opera star; ended things due to their conflicting schedule and are now focusing on their respective careers.
“It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers,” a source was quoted to have said. “They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together.”
Their breakup comes barely two weeks after screenshots of Ehrich‘s old love messages to Selena Gomez; Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande surfaced.
Not long after the news of the couple’s split broke out; Ehrich took to his Instagram page to drop a terse message which reads “Jesus loves you.”
The couple started dating in March, and got engaged on July 22.
