Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori has appointed Afrobeat singer, Harrysong as an executive assistant on entertainment.
On Wednesday, Harrysong posted the letter he received regarding his appointment on his Instagram page.
In a caption, the singer asked to be addressed as “honourable” and thanked the governor for entrusting him with the position.
He also warned residents of the state to brace themselves for a festival in March.
“Newly Appointed E.A (executive assistant). Entertainment. To the Executive Governor of Delta State RT Hon. Sheriff F.O.Oborevwori✈️🎙✅🙌😊,” he wrote.

Harrysong rose to prominence following the release of his two hit singles, ‘I’m In Love’ and ‘Taiye & Kehinde’ in 2010.
The singer began as a church music director before releasing a tribute song to Nelson Mandela in 2012.
With his fusion of Afropop and dancehall styles, he is one of Nigeria’s most well-known singers.
He has received numerous honours and awards for his work.
