Nigerian superstar, David Adeleke, a.k.a, Davido, is set to make a Hollywood debut with a performance role in the upcoming sequel of the 1988 romantic comedy movie, “Coming to America”.
African-American Comedian/Actor, Michael Blackson, made the disclosure on his Twitter handle @MichaelBlackson, while congratulating his ‘homie’.
He wrote: “Davido told me he has a performance scene in the movie #ComingToAmerica2, congrats homie.”
Although Davido is yet to speak about the matter, fans and fellow celebrities have begun to extend their congratulations to OBO.
The “Coming to America 2” sequel which began filming in Atlanta, Georgia, is set to be released on December 18, 2020 in the U.S.
The film is produced by Kevin Misher, directed by Craig Brewer, from a screenplay by David Sheffield, Barry W. Blaustein, and Kenya Barris, and is based on characters created by Eddie Murphy.
