About a week ago, Davido released his album “A Good Time“. The album is doing amazingly well on the charts and has a lot of good reviews.
Perhaps, the concerts Davido will do will be more like the “A Good Times” tour. This will be great seeing as we Nigerians rarely ever get tours.
Davido kicking off his concerts in the East rather than the West could speak to his absorption of Chioma’s cultural identity.
Davido is becoming increasingly popular with Igbo audiences. This development follows his relationship with Chioma and his collaboration with Phyno, in which he sings in Igbo.
Davido, who is Yoruba and sings a lot in Yoruba, could be strategically starting his tour in Asaba and Enugu as a means to garner more followership from the South East.
However, whether strategic or not, you can be sure the concerts are going to be lit! So all the Davido fans in Asaba and Enugu, watch out for concert details and get ready to have a good time.
