U.S singer, Jeremy Phillip Felton, better known as Jeremih, has been discharged from the hospital after battling COVID-19.
In November, the Birthday Sex singer was taken to the hospital and admitted to the ICU, where he was put on a ventilator for a few days.
Jeremih in a statement thanked his medical team, family and friends for supporting him while he was down with COVID-19.
“First and foremost I would like to thank God and the incredible team of doctors; and nurses at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for saving my life. I will be forever grateful,” he said. “I would also like to thank my family and friends for all their prayers and well wishes. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. A special thanks to Chance The Rapper, 50 Cent and Diddy for their love and support.
“I would also like to thank all my fans and people around the world who prayed for me,” the statement continued. “I’m getting stronger everyday, and look forward to spending time with my sons.”
Following the news about Jeremih‘s hospitalization, musicians had banded together to send him their love and support. Chance the Rapper, 50 Cent and many others took to social media with special messages.
