Jason Njoku, co-founder and CEO of iROKOtv has given an update about his mother’s COVID-19 battle.
The British-Nigerian entrepreneur had narrated how his mother tested positive to the respiratory disease earlier this year.
Njoku said he forced his mother, 73, to the hospital after she showed all the symptoms of the deadly virus. He added that his mother tested positive after the fourth test was carried out on her.
On Thursday, he took to Twitter to reveal that his mother is still struggling to recover after testing negative to the virus and leaving the hospital on March 21.
He tweeted:
“My mum survived Covid19 leaving the hospital 21March. 15wks later she’s still struggling to recover. Not even close to back to ‘normal’. Scarred lungs, shortness of breath etc.
