American actress and singer Keke Palmer has been granted full custody of her 8-month-old son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton Jackson, in a court decision.
Additionally, the court approved her appeal for a restraining order against Darius Jackson, the child’s father.
Jackson has been directed to surrender his guns and firearms to the police within the next 124 hours. A court hearing is scheduled for December to determine permanent custody arrangements for Leo.
Palmer had filed for full custody, alleging domestic abuse by Jackson.
She claimed that he had been physically abusive towards her for the past two years.
“He trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me – lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police,” she testified in the documents.
Alongside the documents, Palmer submitted stills from the CCTV footage in her home, showing Jackson assaulting her.
