Drake, a Canadian rapper, is self-isolating after partying with NBA star Kevin Durant who recently tested positive for Coronavirus.
The 33-year-old rapper has quarantined himself in his Toronto mansion after he met with the Nets star eight days ago at Nice Guy in West Hollywood, according to Page Six.
The team was in town to play the Lakers and the Clippers. As it turns out, the Nets’ win over the Lakers ended up being the teams’ last game before the NBA suspended play to coronavirus concerns.
Drake had posted a picture of himself and Durant on Instagram with the caption:
“Life is a race and the grim reaper catches up…till then glasses up.”
On Tuesday, a total of four Nets players including Kevin Durant tested positive for coronavirus, the team said in a statement, with only one currently showing symptoms.
“All four players are presently isolated and under the care of team physicians,” the team said.
“The organization is currently notifying anyone who has had known contact with the players, including recent opponents, and is working closely with state and local health authorities on reporting.
“All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff. The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible.”
Drake, however, has been proving himself fine in his coronavirus isolation, making videos for us to all enjoy as he shows subtle signs of being absolutely bored in his Toronto mansion.
