Controversial Nigerian recording artiste and social media content creator, Speed Darlington who is otherwise known as Akpi has received bail from police custody.

The recent development is coming during the late hours of Tuesday, October 8. It would be recalled that the singer-songwriter was said to have gone missing for almost three days before his mother took to social media to announce that her son was arrested by the Nigerian authority for defaming Grammy award winner, Damini Ogulu who is better known as Burna Boy.

His mother stated that he was arrested in his house in Lagos State and was taken to Abuja where he was detained for days.

Burna is said to have filed a cyberbullying petition against him, hence his arrest.

Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke, announced his release today, October 8.
