After being delayed for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Coachella finally has a set return date.

The festival promoters, Goldenvoice announced on Tuesday via the official website. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is now set for April 2022.

The announcement read,

“Our desert homecoming is officially set for April 2022: weekend one will take place on April 15-17, 2022 and weekend two on April 22-24, 2022,”.

“Our advance sale begins this Friday, June 4th at 10am PT. More time to plan and more time to pay for your passes over time with our flexible payment plan options. Information about flexible payment plans and more at coachella.com.”

The 2020 edition of the festival was originally set for April 2020 before being postponed to October 2020. The festival was canceled over concerns that the hundreds of thousands of attendees would further spread the Covid-19 virus.

It was then scheduled for April 2021 before also getting canceled again.

Also, YouTube has announced that they have returned as Coachella’s livestream partner.

“We’re back and thrilled to be partnering with Goldenvoice for the 10th year to live stream the iconic Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on YouTube. YouTube said in a statement. “As the world’s biggest virtual stage, we are more excited than ever to celebrate live music and to bring two weekends of extraordinary performances to music fans around the world.”
