Netflix has listed Kunle Afolayan‘s Citation and Oloture, a movie produced by Mo Abudu among the top 10 movies watched by Nigerians in 2020.
The list was released by FlixPatrol, a streaming data aggregator platform with a total of 89 movies that piqued the interest of Nigerians on Netflix this year.
Topping the list is 365 Days, a Polish erotic romantic drama which scored 302 points. Coming in second place is Citation with 276 points while Oloture followed closely with 273 points.
Citation tells the story of a 21-year-old university student (Temi Otedola) who accuses her professor of sexual misconduct.
In Oloture, a young, naïve, female journalist goes undercover to expose the shady business of human trafficking in Nigeria and encounters a brutal underworld.
Other movies on the top 10 Netflix list include Lara and The Beat with 195 points.
In Lara and The Beat, the Giwa sisters find themselves at the center of a financial scandal and must salvage their late parents’ media empire.
