The internet was thrown into a frenzy when Captain America actor Chris Evans accidentally leaked a nude photo of himself on to his Instagram. Evans allegedly posted a screenshot of his camera roll on Instagram Stories on Saturday.
The actor had shared a screen recording of his family playing the game Heads Up. Evans, 39, shared the video with his 5.7 million followers but he forgot to edit the final bit (pun unintended) of the clip which revealed the gallery of videos and photos on his phone… including one featuring a penis!
That wasn’t the only image to capture fans’ attention. Another photo allegedly showed a picture of Evans’ face with the text, “guard that p*ssy”. At this time, it’s unclear if the camera roll belongs to Evans or not and he has not claimed it yet.
Moments after posting, Evans quickly deleted his post on social media. This mishap soon became the number one trending topic on Twitter with fans sharing their reactions to the leaked snapshots.
Some fans flooded the comment sections with wholesome Chris Evans content; showing photos and videos of him doing charity work and playing with puppies in order to drown out the nude photos.
More followers made memes about it. Even Evans’ Marvel co-star Mark Ruffalo poked fun at him too.
