There are a lot of undiscovered stories left to fade away – both in past and present times. It is surprising however, that even in this age of the internet and globalization; there are many things we are yet to learn. One of such things is the discovery BBC News has made about a village in Ghana.
On a visit to Mamfe Dove, a village in Ghana, BBC News Africa uncovered the amazing discovery that childbirth as well as burying the dead, is a forbidden.
The women of Mamfe Dove are not allowed to birth a child in the village, instead when in labour, they are taken outside the village and only allowed to return after her child is born.
In this documentary, a pregnant villager speaks with BBC and implores that the practice be abolished.
