Serial collaborators Flavour and Chidinma Ekile just dropped a joint EP titled “40 Years (Everlasting)”. The pair released the EP on Monday after days of teasing pictures on Instagram.
In fact, Flavour deleted all the pictures off his Instagram to make way for the promotion of this love child.

Finally, the EP dropped and it is the embodiment of Igbo love. There is an array of love songs from the Yoruba end of the spectrum. It is lovely that Flavour and Chidinma decided to stock the Igbo library.
What is most striking about it is the chemistry the two artists have on each song. All through the “40 Years (Everlasting)” EP, Flavour and Chidinma seem to feed off each other and merge perfectly.
The 4-tracks and the acoustic version of “Nkem” are rich with Flavour’s homegrown sounds. Chidinma accompanies them well with strong feminine vocals.
They sound like the soundtracks of a high-budget Eastern romance. Flavour and Chidinma probably made this EP with the growing wedding industry in mind. In the coming months, every wedding will be playing these songs.
It would be awesome to back up your new commitment with a song called “40 Years“, right?
