Abuja-based movie production company, Faisty Production, is gearing up for the release of its socially-conscious effort, a movie titled, “What If?”
“What If?” is a short film set to champion the campaign against depression and suicide, two rapidly growing phenomenon affecting the youth today. According to the originators of the idea, the movie gives all the reasons why suicide is never an option, and why depression is not as powerful as we allow it to be.
Creative Director and Producer, Faith Istifanus shared; “Depression is a topic that cannot be over emphasized until a solution is proffered to reduce its negative implications. With divine guidance we’ve been able to provide answers to very important questions still floating in the air. We cannot wait for the world to see this. What if? Is an illustration. What if? Is a movement. What if? Is a new narrative.
The movie will reportedly have a grand premiere in Abuja. But with no official date fixed, the producers anticipate an audience that sincerely supports the idea of telling a story that is often heard when it is mostly too late.
