After a successful first installment, Charles Okpaleke, Living in Bondage Breaking Free producer, has hinted on plans for a sequel.
This is coming after the Nollywood film maker/Play Network CEO, announced plans to launch a drive-in cinema in Lagos and Abuja.
Okpaleke revealed on Instagram on June 2 that he held a meeting with the blockbuster’s director, Ramsey Nouah, writer, Nicole Asinugo and co-producer, Chris Odeh.
Known for making his brand different, Okpaleke wrote:
“I just finished a 4 hour zoom meeting with @2scoopsofnikki @ramseynouah @chrisodeh All I can say for now is Richard Williams would pay some people a visit! It’s official. Who should he start with? The reporter, Andy, Nnamdi or Tobi? Or maybe Kelly.”
Living in Bondage: Breaking Free’ is a sequel to the well acclaimed Nollywood blockbuster ‘Living in Bondage’.
Written by Nicole Asinugo and C.J. Obasi, the film tells the story of Nnamdi, Andy Okeke‘s mysterious son, and his do-or-die approach to getting luxuries of life at his disposal.
The critically acclaimed 2019 thriller recently debuted on Netflix after emerging top of the country’s box office in the first week of release.
