Simone Ledward, wife to late actor Chadwick Boseman, has been appointed administrator of his estate.
The Black Panther star who succumbed to colon cancer in August did not leave a will, and with assets valued at $938,500, this prompted Ledward to file a petition to be appointed administrator last month.
According to People, a court has now granted her that authority. She is now the personal representative with limited authority of Chadwick‘s estate and has till February 22, 2021 to file a $939,000 bond and distribute the assets.
Boseman and Ledward got engaged in October 2019. In a post announcing the demise of the late actor, it was confirmed that the pair had gotten married secretly before the his death.

Boseman, Marvel’s blockbuster superhero died after battling colon cancer for four years.
He was born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina, and kicked off his career in an episode of Third Watch in 2003.
He later featured on Law and Order, ER and CSI before getting his breakout role as Jackie Robinson in 42.
It was his act in 42 that led directly to his role as T’Challa/Black Panther, the fictional leader of Wakanda — a character that first appeared in ‘Captain America: Civil War’.
He won several awards for his portrayal of the iconic Marvel character.
