Canadian rapper, Drake, has postponed the release of his much-anticipated album, Certified Lover Boy.
The Toosie Slide singer had announced back in October that the music project would be released in January 2021; but on Wednesday he revealed that the album has been pushed back due to his surgery recovery.
“I was planning to release my album this month but between surgery and rehab my energy has been dedicated to recovery,” Drake wrote on his Instagram story.
“I’m blessed to be back on my feet feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won’t be dropping in January.”
Although, the singer did not give a specific date for its release; he added that the album will be released this year.
“I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021,” he wrote.
