UNLIKE many people who have been wailing and lamenting over the circumstances brought to them by the novel coronavirus, reality TV star, Cynthia Nwadiora, popularly known as Cee-C, seems to be having a swell time in the pandemic period.

In an Instagram session with MMMG boss, Ubi Franklin, the first runner-up at the third edition of BBNaija, said the pandemic period is both a blessing and a curse.

According to her, it is a curse because people are dying, but it’s also a blessing on the other hand because it presents discovering opportunities for individuals.

She said, “I like this coronavirus period. Though there has been a lot of crisis, it has given me time to spend on myself. A lot of people can’t even look at themselves in the mirror; they don’t like who they have become.

“This is the time for everybody to look within and ask themselves important questions such as — ‘Who am I becoming’? This is a time for everybody to try to level up. It’s time to become better. It is a curse on one hand because people are dying, but it’s also a blessing on the other hand.”

It is no longer news that coronavirus is a disease plaguing the whole world.

Since its outbreak from China late last year (2019), there are close to two million reported cases of the infectious disease on a global scale.

While over 350,000 infected persons have recovered from the virus, no less than 100,000 people have been recorded dead.

In order to curtail the disease spread, a stay-at-home policy has since been implemented in different countries across the world.

Do you think the pandemic is truly a blessing as Cee-C claimed?
