The internet was sent into a frenzy after Cardi B admired Lizzo‘s pictures and posted a photo set of her looking glammed up.
This display of love from the famous rapper had fans clamoring for a collaboration.
In response to fans’ request Cardi declared her interest to work with the pop star, but asked fans not to pressure her to release new music.
She said: “Can I do a song first that I can put her on?”
“OK but stop pressuring me to do stuff. I can’t even show love to people with 100 collab collab collab,” added the rapper.
It seems as though Cardi B is really into the girl power these days with all her female collaborations, and we totally love it.
The collaboration between her and Megan Thee Stallion on WAP broke the US record for the most streams in its first seven days.
The hit single drew 93 million US streams in the week ending August 13, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data — the most for any track ever in its first week of release, surpassing Ariana Grande’s 85.3 million first-week streams for 7 Rings that she amassed back in February 2019.
In a recent chat with Mariah Carey for Interview magazine, the Bronx rapper had shared how she’s feeling about her forthcoming sophomore album. According to her, she feels, she’s missing some songs to complete the project.

“I feel like I’m missing some songs,” she said “Everybody’s rushing me to put it out, but I don’t know if it’s the right time.”
She added: “I do have a song like ‘Be Careful,’ but I think it’s more personal. People were saying, ‘You need to be softer. You need to talk more about yourself.’ And I was telling them that it’s really hard for me to do love records and express myself like that because I never do that. I don’t talk about love and shit.
“People always have crazy expectations, especially when it comes to female rap. It’s not like it’s a competition, but people are always comparing and comparing and comparing. It’s almost like they want to see you fail. I hate the feeling when I don’t do something really good. So I want my shit to be good because my last album did so well, and if this one doesn’t do well, I’m going to feel really sad.”
