David Adeleke, Nigerian Afropop singer better known as Davido, has reached out to embattled dance hall artiste, Cynthia Morgan who now goes by the stage name Madrina following her bankruptcy ordeal.
Earlier today, Cynthia Morgan became the number one trending topic on Twitter after she disclosed her bitter ordeal with her former record label ‘Northside Records’ owned by Jude “Engees” Okoye of the defunct P-Square group.
However, not long after her revelation, the singer’s fans went on to set up a GoFundMe account; with the hashtag #BringBackCynthinaMorgan.
Luck seemed to have smiled on Madrina when Davido offered her a helping hand. The Risky crooner wrote in a tweet: “Cynthia Morgan call me ….”
A few minutes later, he tweeted: “Tell Cynthia I got an anthem for her …. I’ll record my verse now.”
The pair have who have been at logger heads in the past, have finally made up as Madrina replied the singer with crying emojis; to express how she feels.
This is not the first time Davido will be reaching out to the needy. He has won many fans over with his philanthropic acts.
Born 23 September 1991, Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan popularly known by her previous stage name Cynthia Morgan, now Madrina; shot into limelight following the release of two singles titled Don’t Break My Heart and Lead Me On. Her hit singles received massive airplay and positive reviews from critics.
Cynthia made her acting debut in a 2016 Nollywood movie The Wrong Number Directed by Saint Joseph ovensehi, and Ayo Makun‘s comedy movie A trip to Jamaica.
