American rapper, Jay-Z has unveiled his favourite songs of 2019. And this time, he surprises us with Burna Boy’s afrobeat tune ‘Collateral Damage’ which is the 9th song off his ‘African Giant‘ album.
Songs that made the American rapper’s playlist were uploaded to his streaming site, Tidal. However, they include a wide array of hip-hop and R&B artistes.
Other artistes who made the playlist include His wife Beyonce and sister-in-law Solange, Shatta Wale, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Roddy Ricch, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, J. Cole, Young Thug, Nipsey Hussle, Tyler the Creator, Koffee, Rick Ross, Drake, Denzel Curry, and Roc Marciano.

The albums that were nominated in the Best World Music Album Category include: Gece- Altin Gun, What Heat – Bokante & Metropole Orkest conducted by Jules Buckley, African Giant- Burna Boy, Fanm d’Ayiti- Nathalie Joachim with Spektral Quartet and Celia- Anjelique Kidjo.
In addition, Burna Boy’s African Giant Album is currently the most-streamed album in Africa, according to Billboard Africa. His album has continued to perform extremely well and its still going strong. Further more, Billboard Africa says that Burna Boy is also the African artist of the year.
