Organisers of the 2019 MTV European Music Awards have announced its list of nominees on October 2nd.
The awards ceremony is set to take place on November 3, 2019 at the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Center in Seville, Spain and air live on MTV in nearly 180 countries at 9 p.m. CET.
Burna Boy, Teni, Toofan, Prince Kaybee, Nasty C and Harmonize are up for the award in the Best African Act category.
Ariana Grande leads nomination count with seven nods. In the running with six nominations are Shawn Mendes, Lil Nas X and Billie Eilish. J Balvin has a total of five nominations while Taylor Swift and Lizzo each have four.
Voting is open on the website until November 2, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. CET.
