AFRO-fusion star, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy, has shared a handwritten open letter by late Afrobeat music legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, which was addressed to black people around the world.

In the letter, Fela urged black people to focus and channel their energy to a point that would push Africa towards progress.

“A Handwritten letter by the Pioneer Fela Kuti. – My thoughts: All black people please remember that you were AFRICANS before you became anything else. Giants, Royalty! …. let us also remember that we’re all we’ve got, let’s all set new goals because “AFRICA MUST UNITE” ?? #blacklivesmatter – –” Burna Boy captioned.

The self-acclaimed African Giant‘s shared open letter, however, came on the heels of Black Lives Matter protest, which was reignited following the death of George Floyd, a Black-American, who was gruesomely killed by racist policemen.
