Burna Boy has dropped the visuals for “Gum Body”, one of the favourites off his African Giant album. The song which features English singer/songwriter, Jorja Smith has a sultry music video to go with it.
“Gum
Body” sees Burna Boy reminiscing about an encounter with a mysterious
lady, who has left him wanting more. Throughout the song, he states his
confusion about his feelings, questioning his decisions in the melodic bridge
and chorus, aided by Jorja Smith.
For
the fantastic visuals, Meji Alabi, delivers a stellar performance as always with
Burna and Jorja performing their parts of the song acting desolate yet longing
for each other in tune with the song’s lyrics. The end of the clip shows the
duo united before she whizzes off again, much to Burna Boy’s despair.
