Burna Boy Stops Performance At Greater Lagos Concert
At the Greater Lagos festival that took place in Lagos state, Nigeria during New Year’s Day on Wednesday, January 1,
Nigerian recording artiste, Burna Boy raised eyebrows after he kicked an overwhelming fan on stage. The singer-songwriter decided to discontinue his performance following the interruption from the fan.
Reacting to the incident on social media, the self-acclaimed African Giant wrote,
“It was a free show. I was supposed to do 10 minutes and did almost one hour. Everybody knows my rule about getting on stage and startling me when I’m performing.
“I had an amazing time with Lagos State last night. Don’t jump on my stage like that! I got PTSD. I love you all. Happy new year.”

Burna Boy didn’t issue any apology to Nigerians. He walked off the stage apologetically without explanation and couldn’t care what the average Nigerian thinks about him. The populace that jammed to his music in the early 2010s, the same set of people who streamed his songs across various music streaming platforms, Burna Boy disrespects his fellow countrymen and doesn’t care who got hurt.
It is only ideal that the singer-songwriter should embrace the Westerners since he doesn’t care about his own people.
