Afro-fusion star, Burna Boy has said he’s a spiritual singer unlike his peers in the music industry.
Speaking with an American journalist, Elliot Wilson, on Tidal, Burna Boy disclosed that his spirituality as a musician is why nobody should compare his albums with each other.
While saying he doesn’t put out studio project, only to be compared to each other, Burna Boy maintained that he’s not a modern day artiste.
His words, “This is the mistake people make. I am not a modern-day artiste, I am a spiritual musician.
“I do not put projects together and release them so that they can be compared to each other.
“I release because that is how I am feeling in that part of the time in my life and me making that project and pouring it all in there, makes that time of my life immortal.”
Meanwhile, the self-styled African Giant, on Friday, August 14, 2020, released Twice As Tall, his much-anticipated fifth studio project.
