In the wake of his recent feature on Beyoncé’s album, Burna Boy is back with more fire as he had recently promised in a tweet, gearing up for the release of one of the most anticipated projects of 2019 – “African Giant”.
The track titled “Pull Up” premiered on Beats 1 Radio and features Burna sing about a girl he can’t get out of his mind, over a mid-tempo beat. The song’s chill vibe is a clear contrast from his previous single, the fiery “Anybody,” but it is equally enjoyable, proving once again, that the artist is one of the most versatile on the scene.
“What’s up? You alright? Pull up, I’m outside,” he sings melodically atop scattered strings and percussion.
Burna Boy recently appeared on Beyoncé’s “The Lion King: The Gift” album, as the only artist besides Bey herself with a solo track.
You can jam to this while we wait for the entire “African Giant” LP, which drops July 26.
