Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, revealed that her father's other children abused her when she was 14 years old.

Nigerian musician, Cynthia Morgan, has accused Grammy award-winning musician, Burna Boy, of almost making her lose her record label deal.

She did this while clearing the notion that Burna Boy was not a “video vixen”, but “the biggest artist in Africa”. When he was featured in her music video.

Morgan stated that she insisted on having Burna Boy in the video and that almost made her lose her deal with her label boss at the time, Jude Okoye.

This began when an argument ensued between fans of top singers on Twitter, who wanted to speak highly of their favourite artistes. A Twitter user started by calling Burna Boy a “video vixen” for Morgan. While Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, was already hanging out with top international artistes.

In response, Morgan stated, “Burna Boy has always been a big artist. You were just a kid.” She went ahead to share a screenshot of the tweet on her Instagram story. She used the opportunity to then educate viewers on how she got Burna Boy to feature on the music video. Which was for her song “Simatiniya” .

The dancehall artiste wrote ,

“To me, Burna Boy was the biggest artiste in africa when I picked him for Simatiniya video. And I remember almost losing my record deal with Jude Okoye’s label for standing my ground. That it was only Burna Boy I wanted and no one else. I know a lot of you love living in lies either due to tribalism or personal hatred but please, I never want to see my name in any sentence that has to do with a Burna Boy slander. He is the best and the biggest artist in Africa till I pick the mic again.”

This is coming after Morgan called out Burna boy for ‘losing it’ with his music arrangement last year. At the time, she was referring to his song “B.D’or” with fellow musician, Wizkid.
