Andy Cohen, Producer and host of Bravo TV’s “Watch What Happens Live,” announced on Friday; that he tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by Coronavirus.
The 51-year-old US TV show host, made this known via an Instagram post he shared.
Cohen also urged people to “stay home and take care of themselves.”
”After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for Coronavirus. As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better.
” I want to thank all the medical professionals who are working tirelessly for all of us. And urge everybody to stay home and take care of themselves.”
He is the latest celebrity to test positive for Coronavirus, joining Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, Olga Kurylenko, and a host of others.
Andy Cohen lives in New York, where Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) announced a strict new mandate earlier Friday for people statewide to “stay indoors” unless performing or seeking an “essential” service.
Cases of COVID-19 have grown rapidly in the U.S. in recent weeks. With more than 15,000 cases across all 50 states and more than 200 deaths as of Friday.
