American singer, Brandy, has just made her comeback to the music scene with the release of B7, her first album in 8 years.
The 15-track project which comes as a follow up to her last album Two Eleven (2012) was released on Friday.
The 41-year-old singer excitedly revealed to her fans during a listening party on YouTube; that every song on the album tells a story of her experiences.
“This is a beautiful moment for me,” she said.
“I haven’t put out music in eight years, so this is a very, very special project to me. Every song on this album I experienced and I needed to sing about it so I can heal through a lot of my heartbreaks, a lot of my pains, my ups and downs with love and then self-discovery.
“I put my entire heart and soul into this album. I love the body of work. I like the story it tells. I feel like it’s something where people can really just press play.”
In the album, Brandy featured Daniel Caesar for Love Again and Chance the Rapper for Baby Mama. She featured her daughter, Sy-rai Smith, on a song titled High Heels.
The Grammy winning singer also dropped a fantastic video for her single Borderline.
In 1994, the singer released her self-titled debut album followed by her second album, Never Say Never, ever since then, she has been blazing the trail.
