Bobrisky, Nigerian transgender socialite and influencer, has announced a break from Instagram as she will be undergoing facial feminisation surgery.
This is one of the procedures most people who transition choose to go through. Facial feminization surgery is a set of cosmetic surgical procedures that alter typically male facial features; bringing them closer in shape and size to typical female facial features.
The 29-year-old influencer shared the news with her followers on Instagram on Thursday. Bobrisky announced that she will be off the platform for three weeks to heal from the procedure.

Bobrisky wrote, “Going for a facial feminization surgery soon. I will be going off here for three weeks to heal”. This also means no dancing on Snapchat for a while.
Bobrisky shared a photo of a popular trans woman, Nikita Dragun, on her page. According to her, if she was able to pull off a gender reassignment surgery, then she also stands a chance of coming out alive.
Bobrisky’s post read in part: “I have d money now !!!!! I want to look like dis so bad. she didn’t die during her own surgery, I know one thing for sure that I won’t die too.”
