His representative confirmed that he died on Friday, August 28, 2020, at the age of 43.

Boseman was reported to have passed away at his home in Los Angeles, with his wife and family by his side.

Born in the United States, Boseman graduated from Howard University and had small roles in television before his first star turn in 2013.
