Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo, has debunked rumours that his wife demanded N10M from Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo as compensation for alleged rape committed against her.
It was reported that Busola filed a suit against the senior pastor of COZA, Pastor Biodun, reinstating her stand on the rape allegations against him and demanding a personal letter of apology from the cleric.
Shortly after news of the suit went viral, a popular Nigerian blogger reported that Busola Dakolo also demanded a sum of N10m from the Pastor along with the apology letter and this attracted reactions from fans and fellow celebrities.
Timi however, took to his Instagram story to defend his wife, debunking such claims. He disclosed that he got to hear about the rumours through a friend who called to confirm the news.
According to him, 10 million Naira is “not his problem” as it could be his payment for just a weekend show.
