The 5th eviction show of the ongoing BBNaija reality TV show took place on Sunday and it came with a lot of surprises. Kaisha Umaru became the 5th and only housemate to be evicted after leading the bottom four housemates with the lowest votes.
All the housemates were nominated for possible eviction with the exception of Erica and Kiddwaya, who emerged HoH and deputy respectively this week.
But at the end of the week’s voting by fans, Kaisha polled 3.48%, TrikyTee followed with 3.47%, Wathoni had 3.25% while Neo was down the poll with 3.13%.
The remaining 12 housemates were then invited into the diary room to nominate two of the bottom 4 for eviction. Surprisingly 11 out of the housemates all voted Kaisha to be evicted.

- Vee: Kaisha and Wathoni
- Brighto: Trikytee and Kaisha
- Nengi: Kaisha and Wathoni
- Laycon: Trikytee and Kaisha
- Dorathy: Trikytee and Kaisha
- Praise: Kaisha and Trikytee
- Lucy: Trikytee and Wathoni
- Prince: Kaisha and Wathoni
- Tolanibaj: Kaisha and Trikytee
- Ozo: Kaisha and Trikytee
- Erica: Wathoni and Kaisha
At the end of the nomination, 11 people voted Kaisha, 7 voted TrikyTee, 6 picked Wathoni while nobody voted Neo for possible eviction.
Kaisha was then evicted from the BBNaija lockdown house after garnering the highest mentions from the remaining housemates. Ebuka Obi Uchendu, the show’s host announced afterwards that TrikyTee, Wathoni and Neo are safe from eviction.
However, Kaisha revealed when she was called to join Ebuka on stage that her eviction didn’t come as a surprise to her because she knows her fellow housemates did not like her. With Kaisha gone, 15 housemates are left to battle for the winning prize.
