Big Brother Naija season 6 winner, Whitemoney, has admitted that cooking and being in the kitchen while in the show, was a strategy.
He revealed this in an official interview with the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. The duo also talked about his time in the Big Brother house.
The entrepreneur stated that being in the kitchen started as part of his lifestyle but he decided to also turn it into a strategy. However, he clarified that it was only 20% strategy and 80% lifestyle. He stated,
“It was 80% lifestyle and 20% strategy. 80% lifestyle in the sense that the kitchen, washing the dishes and everything is what I literally do. The strategy comes in the sense that this was my strength.”
Many Nigerians took a liking to the housemate from the very first week of the show. This was because of his consistent cooking for his fellow housemates.
In fact, during the show, while male housemate, Pere served as the head of house, he had ordered Whitemoney to stop cooking for the housemates and all the housemates should be involved in preparing food. The then Head of house stated that it was a strategy, at the time.
However, Pere’s action even earned Whitemoney more fans. Viewers felt he handled the situation well. And should be commended for not reacting negatively, despite Pere’s continued acts of aggression towards him.
Big Brother Naija Shine ya eye officially ended on Sunday. With Whitemoney carting away as mych as 90 million naira as his grand prize for emerging winner.
