Big Brother Naija Season 6 housemate, Maria, has been evicted from the Big Brother Shine ya eye show. This happened during the live show on Sunday. Maria’s eviction happened after fellow housemates, Sammie and JMK’s respective evictions.
On monday, other housemates nominated Maria, JMK, Pere, Sammie and Queen for eviction from the BBNaija House. Maria was the third housemate to face eviction on Sunday. JMK was the first.
JMK and Sammie claimed to know they would face eviction. However, Maria’s eviction came as a shock to everyone, including the female housemate.
The remaining housemates were in shock after the host called Maria’s name for eviction.
Reacting to her eviction, Maria stated that her eviction was “surprising and unfortunate”.
“It’s unfortunate that I have been evicted. I thank you all for your phenomenal support. Thank you,” she said after her eviction.
Previously, Maria was a wildcard alongside Pere in the beginning of the show. After the other housemates failed to identify the duo as the wildcards, they both stayed on as regular housemates. She served as Head of house and deputy Head of house at different stages of the game.
Many saw Maria as a strong housemate. Immediately after her eviction, fans went on social media to express their shock. With some even speculating that the eviction was fake.
