Mo’ Fakorede, a member of the management team of Pere, has given an insight about the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye housemate’s personality.
A lot of persons have criticised Pere Egbi’s leadership style during his tenure as the Head of House last week.
However, Mo’ Fakorede, in a chat with Punch, stated that Pere has an assertive personality and speaks with authority.
She said, “The truth is that Pere has an assertive personality and speaks with authority because he has been wired to do so. I have learnt over the years that people who have a healthy dose of self-confidence are usually misunderstood. More often than not, they are labelled as being arrogant.
“That has to do with the way we perceive things in our society. Several people have a false appearance of humility until circumstances make one see them for who they really are. As for him being authoritarian, he took his responsibility very seriously, perhaps more seriously than most would.
“I think he did an adequate job with what he had to work with. Anyone that has had to lead adults would quickly realise that it’s not exactly a walk in the park.”
She added, “He is spirited, energetic and dynamic with a large appetite for life. He has got the resilience and great coping mechanisms that very few possess. Life has thrown him some terrible curve balls but he has found a way to rise above them and create something for himself. Beyond the bravado lies an emotional man.
“He has a great capacity to deal with disappointments from those he loves. He is an actor, singer, presenter and all-round entertainer. I think he is one of the greats about to be unleashed in Nollywood.”
