Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe has emerged winner of the fifth edition of the Big Brother Naija ( BBNaija) reality TV show.
He becomes the third male to achieve the feat since its inception on Sunday night, after polling the highest votes of the five remaining housemates.
The last five housemates were Laycon, Nengi, Dorathy, Vee and Neo.
Vee was the first housemate to leave the BBNaija house on Sunday night, while Neo and Nengi followed suit.
Laycon secured 60 percent of the votes to beat Dorathy who got 21.85 percent, and emerged winner of the 2020 edition of the reality TV show.
Following his BBNaija victory, Laycon is expected to go home with N30m cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost, a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller and a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.”

Laycon is a graduate of philosophy from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) who started his musical journey at an early age and has now emerged as one of Nigeria’s most promising new school acts.
