Mercy Eke, known popularly as Lambo, was one of the most loved housemates in the house. Her persistence, vibe and personality helped her end up as the 2019 Big Brother Naija, the first female winner.

In her interview before the beginning of the “Pepper Dem” season, Mercy didn’t enter the big brother house just for the money, she wanted fame too. “The popularity is significant for my business”, she said.

Now that she has climbed the ladder of fame and become a celebrity, it is of great importance to know some important facts about her.

1. Age:

Mercy is 26 years old. She marked her 26th birthday in the house with other contestants. Unknown to her, parties were also held in several parts of Nigeria on her behalf as her fans celebrated her new age.

2. State of Origin

Mercy Eke hails from Imo state, a fact she has always been proud of and mentioned on several occasions during the show.

The pretty 26-year-old had her secondary education at Egbu Girls High School in Owerri and had her university education at Imo State University (IMSU) where she studied Business Administration.

4. Love Life

During the show finale, Mercy revealed that she is in love with her BBNaija co-star, Ike. According to her, she and Ike seem to understand each other and flow very well. Mercy added that she fell in love with Ike around the fifth week on the show.

5. Occupation

Before entering the BBNaija house, Mercy was a video vixen and business woman. She had worked with numerous celebrities on different occasions. The young lady has revealed her plan to start her own fashion line after winning the N60m grand prize.

6. Relationship with Big Brother

Unknown to a number of fans, Mercy had tried to get on the Big Brother show on four different occasions. Interestingly, her persistence paid off seeing as she is now the winner of the 2019’s edition.
