Nengi, one of the BBNaija housemates, has emerged as the first Head of House of the ongoing BBNaija ‘Lockdown’ edition.
Born Rebecca Nengi Hampson, the 22-year-old beat fellow contestants like Praise, Vee, and Laycon, in a game, to win the title on Monday, July 20, 2020.
It was a game of dice rolling and boxes with instructions to determine the first Head of House in the BBNaija Lockdown edition.
All the 20 housemates took turns in throwing the dice and participated in the game at the kick-off.
Nnegi however became victorious by scoring the highest points in the dice and race game; where housemates were to take turns to play for 1 minute.

After the first round, there was a tie between Nengi and Neo. They were told to play once each and surprisingly they ended on the same spot twice. Nengi eventually edged out Neo by getting 2 extra points.
With this development, Nengi who hailed from Bayelsa gets to enjoy the luxury suite specially made for the HOH; with her deputy Wathoni. The room has a hall, a separate bathroom, and a lounge. The win also grants them immunity from the first eviction nomination.
